At Tivoli Lodge, guest safety is at the forefront of our operation. We appreciate that this is still a very uncertain time, so we want to do everything we can to make guests feel at ease when booking a holiday.
We have created the ‘Tivoli Lodge COVID-19 Protocol’. This document outlines several measures we have created to ensure a safe season…
Tivoli Lodge is an exceptional property, it is the ultimate Ski Chalet but what really sets us apart from the rest is the service. Our staff are integral to our operation. It is therefore particularly important that during this time we take both guest and employee safety very seriously. All team members will be asked to take an online COVID-19 awareness course at the start of the season, this will enhance their knowledge of what precautions needed to be taken. Extra training will be provided on the additional cleaning, PPE, and operational processes we have put in place.
Each employee will be temperature checked every 3 hours, and if they show any symptoms will be asked to self-isolate. Multiple staff accommodation is provided off the lodge premises.
The team at Tivoli Lodge pride them selves on keeping the property beautifully presented, clean, and tidy. In addition to our comprehensive housekeeping schedule, extra measures have been put in place to guarantee hygiene standards are kept high, including using hospital grade disinfectants. Housekeeping will now take place after the guests have left for skiing; this will limit the amount of staff in the lodge at one time. It goes without saying, door handles, handrails, communal bathrooms and touch points in communal areas will be sterilised frequently. A personal disinfectant spray will also be placed in every room.
Lastly and most importantly our guests. All these additional procedures we hope will allow guests to relax in the confidence that we are doing everything possible to make their holiday as safe and enjoyable as possible. Mini bottles of sanitiser are available throughout the lodge, as well as in our chauffeured vehicles.
During the predeparture call we would like to invite guests to plan their service offering, with as much or little interaction from the staff as required. From breakfast in bedrooms and cleaning during skiing outings to family style dinner with minimal servers, the choice is theirs. We want to offer the most exceptional service possible and appreciate that during these challenging times this may need to be personalised even more than usually.
The Davos/ Klosters Bergbahn have confirmed that they plan to open the mountain on the 26th of November. All gondolas, funicular railways and chairlifts will be operational as standard. It will be compulsory to wear a hygienic mask over your nose and mouth and only masks that are recommended by the swiss authorises will be allowed. These can be purchased from the lift pass kiosks for 1 CHF. Their ‘protection concept’ is available and updated regularly on the Davos Klosters website. Further information can be found at

With heavy snow forecast this weekend, we are getting extremely excited for the upcoming season!
